Summary:
|
One of the priorities of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is that all students will graduate from high school prepared for post-secondary and career options to obtain a certificate of high school completion. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Prep-In Person offers a research-based comprehensive approach to preparing students for the SAT exam. Expert Kaplan instructors guide students through evidence-based reading and writing, math, and essay lessons using Kaplan’s proprietary model. Full-length practice tests, online scores, Smart Reports, and adaptive online assets provide students with many opportunities to practice and apply Kaplan methods and strategies, refine their skills, and build confidence on test day.
Services include:
- Twenty-five (25) hour SAT Prep - In Person class for up to twenty-five (25) students
- Course books, tests, online assets/reports (six (6) 3-hour classes led by Kaplan; two (2) 3.5-hour tests proctored by Kaplan and webgrid scored by students)
- Space availability for additional students
The term of this Agreement shall be for the 2019-20 school year from October 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, at a total cost not to exceed $20,040.00.

The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.
