Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District is requesting to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Azusa Pacific University (APU) for a partnership that includes tuition discount for employees. Through this MOU, the APU School of Education offers discounted tuition to employees of the District to provide access to professional preparation through certificate, credential, masters’ and education specialist degrees. In addition, the District will help disseminate APU program information to all employees and allow APU representatives access to District sites to meet with employees.
The term of this MOU will be from March 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.
