Summary:
|
The District currently provides services to approximately 1,330 students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Although the District offers most services to students, we do not offer all services to students. The District contracts annually with the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools through the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) for Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) services to assess, train, provide direct supervision as well as curriculum and materials for students requiring CAPD services. The Riverside County Superintendent of Schools has extensive services for students with these disabilities and continues to do an excellent job of servicing our students.
The term of this Agreement shall be from October 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. The estimated cost for these services, based upon projected enrollment and 2019-20 costs, is $15,000.
This is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to the untimely receipt of the Agreement from Riverside County Superintendent of Schools.
