Summary:
|
On May 16, 2012 the District Board of Trustees approved a Lease Agreement with Mobile Modular Management Corporation for the lease of one classroom portable at Pinacate Middle School in order to accommodate student enrollment. Additionally, on March 19, 2014, the Board of Trustees approved Lease Agreements for nine (9) classroom portables and one (1) restroom portable to be used as interim housing during the final construction phase at Perris High School. In order to continue using these portables, a contract addendum is the most cost effective option for the District. A contract addendum is required to continue leasing these portables through the 2019-20 school year.
This contract addendum pricing is as follows:
Pinacate Middle School:
*24x40 classroom portable - $675 per month, 1 year lease extension from June 17, 2019 through June 10, 2020.
Perris High School:
*3 - 24x40 classroom portables - $675 each, per month, 1 year lease extension from July 30, 2019 through July 23, 2020.
*3 - 36x40 classroom portables - $1,475 each, per month, 1 year lease extension from July 30, 2019 through July 23, 2020.
*3 - 48x40 classroom portables - $1,845 each, per month, 1 year lease extension from July 30, 2019 through July 23, 2020.
*1 - 12x40 restroom building - $1,705 per month, 1 year lease extension from July 30, 2019 through July 23, 2020.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Various Facilities Funds, not the General Fund.

Recommendation:
|
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Contract Addendum with Mobile Modular Management Corporation for the continued lease of portables at Perris High School and Pinacate Middle School.
