Summary:
|
On August 25-27, 2017, the California Cadet Corps (CACC) will be holding a Leadership Conference for adults and cadet leaders at Camp San Luis Obispo.
The Leadership Conference will commence on August 26th and conclude after lunch on the 27th. This conference is intended to provide an update on the state-level cadet corps, solicit input from stakeholders on strategic direction, provide opportunities for sharing of “best practices”, educational sessions, and to provide a networking opportunity for adults who have active roles in supporting the CACC as well as cadet leaders from throughout the state.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend general sessions as well as select breakout groups which are relevant or of particular interest to them.
The Cadet Corps is providing food and housing for all cadets attending from the battalions throughout the State at no cost. The California Military Institute (CMI) will provide transportation with a District vehicle. Four cadets and 3 adults from CMI will attend the Leadership Conference.

The cost for this item is funded through the California Cadet Corps Military Department Headquarters.
