Summary:
|
The District would like to extend a contract for the Division of State Architects (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) Services for the Pinacate Middle School Shade Structure Project to Inland Inspections and Consulting. The IOR verifies that the construction of a project follows and adheres to the plans and specifications as approved by the DSA office. The duties of the IOR are defined in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-342. In addition, the IOR works with the District to mitigate the effects of construction activities and operations on a school site and to make sure all applicable safety standards are being followed. The DSA IOR services are provided through project completion and will be billed at an hourly rate of $94.50 at an estimated project cost of $5,670.

The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Various Facilities Funds, not the General Fund.
