Summary:
|
On December 12, 2018, Perris Union High School District awarded contracts for the construction of the Paloma Valley High School Concession Building Project. Construction on this project was completed in August of 2019. The Concession Building Project was originally designed to serve cold, prepackaged items. The District has decided to change the menu that will be served from this concession building to include hot items which are cooked and assembled in this facility. Plans have been developed and approved by the Department of Environmental Health that retrofits the concession building in accordance with Health Department regulations that are required for the appropriate permit to operate. The work required to comply with the Health Department requirements includes the addition of a three (3) compartment sink, additional hot water heaters, hand washing sink, floor drains, stainless steel counters and shelving along with the required plumbing; electrical and finish work required to complete this work. District has obtained three proposals for this work and would like to award the project to SJD Contractors, Inc. This project will be constructed at a cost not to exceed $56,400.

The cost of this item will be included in the 2020-21 operating budget funded through Various Facilities Funds, not the General Fund.
