Summary:
|
District staff requested multiple proposals for Division of State Architects (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) services for the Heritage High School Aquatic Center Project. After reviewing these proposals, the District would like to extend the contract for the DSA Inspector of Record services to TYR, Inc. The IOR verifies that construction of a project follows and adheres to the plans and specifications as approved by the Division of State Architect's office. The duties of the IOR are defined in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-342. In addition, the IOR works with the District team to mitigate the effects of construction activities and operations on a school site and to make sure all applicable safety standards are being followed. The DSA IOR services are provided through project completion and will be billed at an hourly rate of $95.00 for the main Project Inspector, with an estimated project cost of $169,738.40.
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 16, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
