Summary:
|
Stephen Kaas, Paloma Valley High School (PVHS) Girls' Varsity Volleyball coach, has submitted a request to have 16 members of the girls' volleyball team participate in the So Cal Invitational Volleyball Tournament on October 5-6, 2018. The tournament will be held at Alliant University, in San Diego.
These tournaments will offer the team the opportunity to play against elite level players and provide increased exposure for players who plan on playing volleyball in college.
Sixteen players and two chaperones will be attending the tournament. The estimated cost to attend the tournament is $720. All expenses will be paid for by the Associated Student Body. Transportation will be provided by District vehicles.

The cost for this item is included in the 2017-18 operating budget funded through the PVHS Associated Student Body fund in the amount of $720.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the overnight field trip request for Paloma Valley High School Girls' Volleyball team to attend the So Cal Invitational Tournament at Alliant University in San Diego on October 5-6, 2018.
