Summary:
|
Education law never ceases to change and grow which necessitates that school districts update policies and regulations as well as add/delete/change policies and regulations to meet the mandates of the law. The reasons for their inclusion in the district policy manual are summarized in the attached justification document.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt: AR 5111.12 - Residency Based on Parent/Guardian Employment (AR deleted); BP/AR 5141 - Health Care and Emergencies; E 5141.6 - School Health Services (Exhibit deleted); BP 5111 - Admission; BP 5111.1 - District Residency; BP/AR 5113 - Absences and Excuses; BP/AR 5141.52 - Suicide Prevention; E 5145.6 - Parental Notifications; and, BP/AR 5148.2 - Before/After School Programs.
