Summary: On March 29, 2019 the Perris Union High School District and the Perris Secondary Educators Association reached a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the Health Benefits Dental Implant Insurance Rider. Pursuant to Appendix B of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the District shall pay eighty percent (80%) of the increased premium cost and unit members will pay the remaining twenty (20%) through payroll deductions. The Delta Dental PPO plan with the dental implant rider shall be effective July 1, 2019.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Perris Union High School District and the Perris Secondary Educators Association regarding the 2019 Health Benefits Dental Implant Insurance Rider.
