Summary:
|
A Memorandum of Understanding was reached between the District and the Perris Secondary Educators Association on June 4, 2018 in regards to an increase of the regular work schedule for Adapted Physical Education teachers in order to treat them similarly to other special education service professionals in the District. This Agreement changes them from 7 hours 25 minutes with a preparation period per day to 8 hours per day and increases their work calendar to 196 work days to meet the needs of students of non-public schools who are on different academic calendars. The District is also requesting approval of the attached salary schedule #153 which reflects the changes noted above as well as the revised job description that has been updated to reflect the new salary schedule.
