Summary:
|
The Facilities Department requested proposals for geotechnical, material testing, and special inspection services for the Paloma Valley High School CTE Building Project. The Facilities Team would like to extend the contract for materials testing and special inspection services to Leighton Consulting. Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-335 requires that tests of materials for construction projects under the jurisdiction of the Division of State Architects (DSA) be performed by testing facilities acceptable to DSA. The services are being provided at an estimated project cost of $18,930.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2017-18 operating budget funded through the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant, Perkins Grant, and the Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds.
