Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with Mediscan Staffing Services for psychologist services for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year. These services would be used to assess students for their initial eligibility into special education as well as determine their continued eligibility. These services would be provided to District students who require an initial evaluation or reevaluation according to the federal timelines. This Agreement will also cover any additional duties a school psychologist can perform such as counseling and recommendations for accommodations for District students.
The term of this Agreement shall be from April 19, 2017 to June 30, 2017 at a total cost not-to-exceed $30,600.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2016-17 operating budget funded through Special Education, Fund 06.
