Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into an Agreement for a comprehensive functional assessment with Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis for the 2018-19 school year. These services would be used to provide a student an agreed upon assessment via a Settlement Agreement. The services would include travel, assessment, report writing, and attendance at Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings. These services would be provided to a District student who requires additional assessments according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP). The term of this Agreement shall be from July 21, 2018 to December 30, 2019 at a total cost not-to-exceed $19,400. Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through Special Education Mental Health, Fund 06.

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Agreement for a Comprehensive Functional Assessment with the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis.
