Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with Speech and Language Therapy Services for the 2017-18 school year. These services would be used to provide speech and language evaluations, augmentative communication/assistive technology evaluations, and training. These services would be provided to District students who require speech and language evaluations and/or augmentative communication/assistive technology evaluations according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP). This Agreement will also cover any training staff requires based on the evaluations.
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 at a total cost not-to-exceed $20,000.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2017-18 operating budget funded through Special Education, Fund 06.
