Summary:
|
Heritage High School Agriculture teacher, Jeremiah Perotti, is requesting Board approval for the Heritage High School's Future Farmers of America (FFA) students to attend the 92nd Annual Future Farmers of America State Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California, April 23-26, 2020.
The FFA Leadership Conference is an extension of the classroom and will strengthen what the students have learned through the curriculum. The purpose of this trip is to expand leadership skills by attending leadership workshops and activities. The skills acquired at these conferences are valuable tools that can be used immediately and after high school.
This is an overnight field trip of three (3) nights, with twenty-four (24) students, and four (4) adult chaperones. Transportation will be provided via District and site vehicles.

The cost of this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Heritage High School's Future Farmers of America Associated Student Body Account and the Perkins Grant, not the General Fund.
