Summary:
|
The Maintenance Department requests Board authorization to utilize the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance Piggybackable Contract #R5175 as awarded to AstroTurf for the purchase of the materials for the new football/soccer field turf at Perris High School. The tear-off of the existing turf and installation of the new turf purchased under this piggyback contract will be bid separately and brought to the Board for approval at a later date.
The total price of the materials is $452,300 which includes the synthetic turf, brock pad, geotextile fabric, inlaid markings, logos, lettering, infill, taxes, freight, testing, and warranty.
