Summary:
|
During the course of the fiscal year, budget revisions become necessary to bring the budgeted revenues and expenditures in balance with actual receipts and expenses. By making these appropriation adjustments to actuals, the District will be able to reflect a more realistic picture of actual spending patterns of funds and keep each account up-to-date with accurate uncommitted balances. By utilizing the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services or the Director of Fiscal Services to approve appropriation transfers as necessary, repeated ratification by the Governing Board can be eliminated. See attached Resolution No. 25:16-17 Transfer of Appropriation for 2017-18.

Any adjustments will be reflected in the 2017-18 operating budget and updated to the Governing Board via First and Second Interim Reports.
