Summary:
|
The District would like to extend the contract for the Division of the State Architect (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) Services for the Perris Union High School District, High School No. 4 Project to TYR Incorporated. The IOR verifies that construction of a project follows and adheres to the plans and specifications as approved by the Division of State Architects office. The duties of the IOR are defined in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-342. In addition, the IOR works with the Facilities Team to mitigate the effects of construction activities and operations on a school site and to make sure all applicable safety standards are being followed. The DSA IOR services are provided through project completion and will be billed at an hourly rate of $92 with an estimated project cost of $914,026.56.
The term of this Agreement shall be for a period of 35 months, from February 21, 2019 to December 31, 2021.
Education Codes 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
