Summary:

Major Joseph Alo and SgtMaj David Sibley request approval for 60 student cadets to attend California Cadet Corps (CACC) Annual Summer Camp located at Camp San Luis Obispo, California from June 13-30, 2019.
The intent of this camp is to enhance the mental and physical fitness abilities of our student cadets in an outdoor team environment. It is of the utmost importance for our student cadets to attend in order to meet CACC requirements on the Annual General Inspection. This camp will not only benefit our student cadets to attend, but it would also benefit the California Military Academy. Cadets will have the opportunity to attend Leadership and Advance courses that will teach them to use newly acquired skills on an everyday basis.
Transportation will be provided by CACC via charter buses. Lodging and meals will also be provided by CACC as part of the summer camp. The total cost of cadets attendance will not exceed $9,500.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through California Military Institute CMD-MOU fund, not the California Military Institute General Fund.
