Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District’s Nutrition Services Department would like to renew the Agreement with P&R Paper Supply Company, Inc. (P&R) for paper product distribution services for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2020-21 school year. Additionally, P&R has accepted the responsibility of functioning as a packaging consultant to make the District aware of new and innovative products in the market and using the items that best meet the District’s needs.
The original Agreement was approved on May 15, 2019, and allowed for up to two (2) additional one (1) year term renewals upon mutual written consent for a maximum of three (3) years, in accordance with Education Code Section 81644. Addendum No. 1 is the second term of this Agreement and shall be from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2020-21 operating budget funded through Nutrition Services, not the General Fund.
