Summary:
|
The Maintenance Department would like to enter into a contract with TTG Engineers for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural (MEPS) engineering services for the California Military Institute kitchen and District maintenance yard. The services include drawings, scope of work, plan check, and plan submission to the Department of the State Architect (DSA) for over the counter review and DSA closeout. The project will include replacement of the existing heating, ventilation and air conditioning to the existing District maintenance yard and the removal and replacement of the existing swamp cooler with an energy efficient HVAC unit in the kitchen at the California Military Institute.
The cost for the portion of work at CMI is $15,820 and the cost for the District maintenance yard is $7,950 for a total of $23,770.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2016-17 operating budget funded through the Routine Restricted Maintenance Fund, Fund 06.
