Summary:
|
On March 6, 2017, the California Military Institute Charter School and the California Military Institute Teachers Association (CMITA) reached a Tentative Agreement (TA). Subsequently, the TA was ratified by CMITA on March 13, 2017.
The major provisions of the TA include a 1 percent salary increase retroactive to July 1, 2016 and an additional 4 percent increase to instructor salary schedule 211 for the addition of 15 minutes to the work day beginning May 1, 2017. It also included changes to existing stipend amounts and added new stipends, an increase to the health and welfare cap, and a new certificated evaluation form and rubric.
