Perris-CMI MOU.On-Site & Off Site Improvements.pdf
Summary: The Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) Facilities Department has worked with the City of Perris to coordinate the California Military Institute (CMI) Gymnasium and Parking/Circulation Project. The City of Perris plans to widen A Street, adjacent to CMI. As part of this necessary coordination between the two projects, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been developed between PUHSD and the City of Perris that outlines the project components and responsibilities that need to be coordinated between the two entities. These include PUHSD’s development of off-site plans for the widening project and the reimbursement by the City to PUHSD for the design and plan check fees. The City agrees to advertise, bid and pay for these improvements. This MOU also stipulates that these plans will include a traffic signal on Highland Vista, which PUHSD will purchase and be reimbursed for. PUHSD coordination with Southern California Edison (SCE) for power and meter to the signal, relocation of existing on-site irrigation and water infrastructure by the District, the dedication of the right of way to complete this project, as well as the City of Perris being responsible for coordinating the relocation of the Edison power poles adjacent to CMI.
Funding: No fiscal impact.
