Summary: The Perris Union High School District requests approval to continue services with Gallup, Inc. to conduct and analyze an employee engagement survey, specifically designed to analyze factors that lead to or inhibit employee morale. The intent of this Agreement is to support the Board of Education’s goal of improving employee morale. Engaged employees are those who are involved in, enthusiastic about, and committed to their work and workplace. Gallup, Inc. is a research-based, global performance-management firm that provides research and strategic support to organizations like the Perris Union High School District. The results provided by Gallup will be compared to similar organizations throughout the nation, allowing district administrators to identify areas of strength and opportunities for growth related to employee morale and employee engagement.

The information gained through the process will help school leaders, classified managers, and the Human Resources Department review and analyze employee engagement at both the meta-level (district-wide) and micro-level (site/department), so they can address trends in engagement, motivation, and interests.

The term of this Agreement shall be for three (3) years at a total cost of $15,750 per year; for a total cost of $47,250. This is $2,000 less than we paid on the last Agreement because we are receiving a 10% discount per year over the three (3) year period. The District will be billed annually.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24 operating budgets funded through the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Multi-Year Agreement with Gallup, Incorporated to provide employee engagement measurement and reporting services.
