Summary:
|
The Special Education Department entered into an Agreement for Occupational Therapy Services and Assessments from November 27, 2017 through March 16, 2018 with a total amount not-to-exceed $8,000. These services are provided to District students who require occupational therapy services according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
The recommendation is to extend the Agreement through June 6, 2018. This would be an increase of $7,260 for a total of $15,260.
The ratification is needed as new compensatory services were reported and the increase will cover those services for the remainder of the school year.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
