Education law never ceases to change and grow which necessitates that school districts update policies and regulations as well as add/delete/change policies and regulations to meet the mandates of the law. The reason for their inclusion in the district policy manual is summarized in the attached justification document

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees receive for its review and consideration, as part of the first reading: BP 6142.3 - Civic Education; BP 6146.1 - High School Graduation Requirements; BP/AR 6152.1 - Placement in Mathematics Courses; AR 6173.2 - Education of Children of Military Families; BP/AR 6175 - Migrant Education Program; AR 6183 - Home and Hospital Instruction; and BP 6190 - Evaluation of the Instructional Program.
