The Facilities Department used formal bidding procedures for the Student Services Center Modular Building Replacement Project. The project includes one (1) contractor category. The bid opening was held on October 15, 2019, and two (2) bids were submitted.

This contract was bid and awarded pursuant to Public Contract Code 20111, which provides that the Governing Board shall let any contract for a public project, as defined in subdivision (c) of Section 22002, involving an expenditure of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) or more, to the lowest responsible bidder. A copy of the entire Bid Package is available in the Business Services Office for review. Notice to Proceed was given prior to Board approval in order to meet critical project timelines and negate undue delay of the project. Ratification of this contract award is permitted for Board approved facilities projects pursuant to Purchasing Policy.
