Summary:

At the April 18, 2017 meeting of the Board of Trustees, action was taken to approve a Professional Services Agreement with Leslie Ventuleth for Consulting Services, effective May 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017. The District is requesting that the effective date of the Agreement be amended and ratified to the effective dates of April 7, 2017 through June 30, 2017.
This request is being submitted for ratification because in her role as a substitute, she had already worked the maximum number of hours allowable under CalPERS as of April 6, 2017.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.
