Summary:
|
Scott Moore, Heritage High School’s Athletic Director, Michael Pfeiffer, Paloma Valley High School's Athletic Director, and Kenneth Cohen, Perris High School’s Athletic Director, have submitted requests to attend the California State Athletic Directors Association’s (CSADA) Athletic Directors Conference in Reno, Nevada, on April 19-23, 2017.
The Athletic Directors (ADs) feel that it would be advantageous to attend the CSADA conference to hear veteran Athletic Directors and be presented with new ideas to help them each become a better in their field.
In addition to having the opportunity to attend workshops at the conference for professional growth, the ADs will be able to meet with vendors to plan and prepare equipment ordering needs for the next school year.

The cost for this item is included in the 2016-17 operating budget funded through District LCAP monies.

Recommendation:
|
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the out-of-state conference request for Scott Moore, Heritage High School’s Athletic Director, Michael Pfeiffer, Paloma Valley High School's Athletic Director, and Kenneth Cohen, Perris High School’s Athletic Director to attend the 49th California State Athletic Directors Association’s Annual Conference in Reno, Nevada, April 19-23, 2017.
