Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into an Agreement with Flippen Group to provide a 2-day “Leadership Blueprint” training, July 22-23, 2019. Flippen Group is one of the largest educator training companies and fastest-growing leadership development organizations in North America. Leadership Blueprint is designed for upper-level campus and district leaders. The 2-day training will be an immersive, participatory experience where Directors, Coordinators, Managers, Principals, Assistant Principals, and Athletic Directors will learn and practice skills that they will use and model throughout the district on a daily basis.
This learning experience will teach our district and school site leadership teams that relationships are at the core of performance, and that real trust and respect are essential to any organization seeking to grow and improve. District and site leadership teams will learn and practice specific skills that make clear, candid communication possible with teachers, PLC teams, certificated and classified staff. Expected outcomes will be for site leadership to create peer connections that help accomplish common goals, open lines of communication to give and receive feedback effectively, build high-performing, self managing teams, develop specific skills and techniques for conflict resolution, uncover and overcome personal constraints, identify self-limiting behavior patterns and tendencies, and create an individual plan of action.
The total cost of services for this Agreement will not exceed $30,000.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the Low Performing Schools Block Grant, not the General Fund.
