Summary:
|
On March 21, 2018, the District entered into an Agreement with American Modular Systems to construct a 14,400 square foot, 180 foot by 40 foot two-story modular classroom building to be installed as part of the Paloma Valley High School Classroom Addition Project. This modular classroom building will be built at the American Modular Systems Plant in Northern California. Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-335 of the California Building Code requires testing and inspection of materials for construction projects under the jurisdiction of the Division of State Architects (DSA) to include plant inspections for modular buildings that are constructed off site. The Facilities Department requested a proposal from North American Technical Services to provide the in plant testing and inspections services for the modular building that will be installed at Paloma Valley High School. The cost for these services is $36,250.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.
