Summary:
|
In March 2019, Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) began construction of the Liberty High School Project. As part of the design of Liberty High School, the Design Team incorporated landscaped areas (as shown in Exhibit A of the Agreement) at the perimeter of the campus adjacent to and in the Riverside County Transportation Department’s Right of Way. These landscape areas are to be maintained by PUHSD. The County of Riverside Transportation Department required the execution of an Agreement for Maintenance of Parkways. This Agreement states that PUHSD will maintain these areas in a clean and attractive manner and shall maintain the irrigation system at these areas as well. The cost for the maintenance of these parkways are the responsibility of PUHSD. Additionally, PUHSD will indemnify Riverside County Transportation and cooperate with the County of Riverside Transportation Department in the construction of sidewalks and improvements at these parkways. This item is being brought forward as a ratification due to the need to move forward with the execution of this Agreement in order to obtain full County approval of off site plans. Off site plans are necessary to move forward with these improvements and are a critical path item in the Liberty High School Construction Schedule.
