|
Joseph Alo, instructor, has submitted a request to have California Military (CMI) cadets participate in a Bivouac that will be hosted by CMI and will take place on the military base at Camp San Luis Obispo, in San Luis Obispo, California, September 15-19, 2017.
The Bivouac is for cadets who are interested in training in marksmanship simulators, obstacle courses, rappelling, and the Leadership Reaction Course. Cadets with outstanding military bearing and high proficiency in academics are eligible to attend this Bivouac.
Cadets will arrive at Camp San Luis Obispo on Friday, September 15, 2017, where they will set up camp for four nights. For three days these cadets will be using a marksmanship EST 2000, climbing over and under obstacles during the obstacle course, and participate in the Leadership Reaction Course. On Tuesday morning the cadets will pack up, clean their camp site and depart at 10:00 a.m. and head back to CMI.
There will be approximately 60 cadets accompanied by 10 adults. The cost per person (cadet and adult) is $20. Transportation will be provided by a District bus.
