Summary:
|
The District is contracting with THINK Together, Incorporated (THINK), a California non-profit corporation, that will be providing a before and after-school program for Perris High School and Heritage High School students through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Safety and Education for Teens (CCLC ASSETs) Grant.
The Consultant (THINK) shall provide the following services:
• Operate the After-School Programs at Perris High School and Heritage High School.
• Supply the staff, materials, management and supervision, and volunteer recruitment for the After-School Program.
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024 subject to the District’s receipt of the 21st CCLC ASSETs Grant Award.
THINK will be paid a prorated amount of 80 percent of the Grant Award from the California Department of Education, according to Schedule A (attached to the Agreement) equal to $400,000.
This Agreement is being taken to board to show the correct term of five (5) years as listed on the original Agreement that was Board approved on June 19, 2019.

The cost of this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Safety and Education for Teens Grant, not the General Fund.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with THINK Together, Incorporated for Perris High and Heritage High School's Before and After-School Programs.
