Summary:
|
The District is requesting approval to submit an application for a Provisional Internship Permit (PIP). This PIP will allow for the employment of a full-time Moderate-to-Severe Special Education teacher at Pathways for Adult Living Skills (PALS). Multiple recruitment's for Special Education teachers resulted in few applicants with appropriate qualifications. This PIP will permit the teacher, Aliya Eddington, to work for the 2018-2019 school year. Ms. Eddington is currently enrolled in a credentialing program with Brandman University.

The administration recommends that the Board of Trustees approve the submittal of an application for a Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) for Aliya Eddington.
