Summary:

The Heritage High School Associated Student Body (ASB) has chosen to contract with WorldStrides Adventures America in order to retain a location for the Heritage High School Grad Nite 2021 at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Although there are uncertain conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Heritage High School ASB must meet certain timelines in order to secure Grad Nite tickets for the Heritage High School Grad Nite 2021 at Six Flags Magic Mountain. All parties are aware of the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 guidelines for public gatherings and will adhere to state and local guidelines during the time of the event, including cancellation if necessary.
The 2021 Six Flags Grad Nite will be held at 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355, on Friday, May 21, 2021, from 9:00 pm until Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 4:00 am, with an estimated cost of $52,500. Tickets are $105 per student or guest. Heritage High School is currently estimating 500 purchased student tickets and 50 complimentary chaperone tickets. The selection for grad nite has been approved by the 2020-21 Senior Class students and Senior Class Advisor.

The cost for this item is included in the 2020-21 operating budget funded through Heritage High School's Associated Student Body Account, not the General Fund.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with WorldStrides Adventures America for the 2021 Heritage High School Grad Nite at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
