Summary:
|
Nutrition Services is requesting to renew Piggybackable Val Verde Unified School District Bid #FS16/17-01 as awarded to Galasso’s Bakery for fresh bread products. Nutrition Services has determined that it is in the best interest of the District to continue to piggyback off of Bid #FS16/1701 through the 2018-19 school year. The original Agreement allowed for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods for a maximum of three (3) years, in accordance with Education Code Section 81644. This will be the last of the renewable terms.
The term of this renewal shall be from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
Legal reference for piggybackable bidding is Public Contract Code 20118.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through Nutrition Services, Fund 13.
