Summary: The Perris Union High School District and the University of Redlands wish to enter into a Multi-Year Internship Program Memorandum of Understanding to be effective July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019.

The term for this Memorandum of Understanding shall be from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019.

Pursuant to California Education Code 44320(b) a school district governing board is authorized to enter into an agreement with a state university or any university or college accredited by the State Board of Education as a teacher education institution, in order to provide teaching experience through student teaching to students enrolled in teacher training curricula.
Funding: There is no fiscal impact to this item.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Multi-Year Internship Program Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Redlands.
