Summary: The District requests ratification of the Maintenance Agreement with KONE Incorporated for elevator and wheelchair lift maintenance at various school sites districtwide for the 2020-21 school year.

The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The cost for service is $32,100.00 payable in twelve (12) monthly installments of $2,675.00.

This item is being brought forth as a ratification due to budget uncertainties that existed as a result of the State Budget not having been signed by the Governor until June 29, 2020.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2020-21 operating budget funded through the Maintenance Fund, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Maintenance Agreement with KONE Incorporated for the maintenance of elevators and wheelchair lifts districtwide.
