Summary:
|
The current term of the California Military Institute (CMI) Charter School is due to expire on June 30, 2018. Pursuant to Education Code Section 47607, CMI has submitted a Renewal Charter Petition to the District as chartering authority for consideration. The proposed CMI Renewal Charter would be for a term of five (5) years, from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023.
The Governing Board will hold a Public Hearing on the provisions of the proposed CMI Renewal Charter, and will consider the level of support by employees in the District and parents for the proposal. Following the Public Hearing, the Governing Board will consider whether to grant the CMI Renewal Charter for another five (5) year term.
