Summary:
|
Joseph Alo, Senior Military Instructor, has submitted a request to have the California Military Institute's cadets participate in the Officer Candidate School (OCS) to be hosted at the California Military Institute, on March 23-25, 2018.
The purpose of OCS is to train non-commissioned officers of the California Military Institute how to become and lead as a commissioned officer within the California Cadet Corps and CMI. This training will also teach them the core fundamentals of Commissioned Officership, such as how to utilize leadership traits, how to train junior cadets, and how to work with them as an officer. The OCS cadets will experience a safe, military-style learning environment.
Cadet instructors, adult staff, and OCS cadets will arrive after school at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 prior to the candidates arriving for preparation. There is no cost to the cadets for attending this event.
