Summary:
|
Securing qualified Guest Teachers on a daily basis continues to be a challenge for all districts. While the District continues to process new Guest Teachers weekly (we currently have 145 Guest Teachers in our system), we regularly face the challenge of not having enough Guest Teacher coverage for all the assignments available. In order to remain a competitor related to other districts, Human Resources is recommending an increase in the daily rate for Guest Teachers as attached.
