Summary:
|
Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with Preferred Interpreting Service, LLC to provide American Sign Language interpreting for the 2020-21 school year. The use of a certified American Sign Language interpreter is a requirement for an individual student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP). Interpreting services may be provided remotely, as required by the District.
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, at a total cost not to exceed $81,462.50.
This is being brought forward as a ratification due to the need to locate a new service provider and still provide continuity of services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2020-21 operating budget funded through Special Education, not the General Fund.
