Summary:

Jane Scibilia, Associated Student Body (ASB) Club Advisor at the California Military Institute (CMI), is submitting an overnight field trip request for the Board’s consideration and approval for 30 CMI ASB student leaders to attend the Associated Student Body Leadership and Team Building Event at the San Onofre Beach Resort at Camp Pendleton, in Oceanside, California, June 19-21, 2017.
This is a team building and leadership training event for CMI’s incoming Associated Student Body governing board members. This trip will help them build a stronger ASB unit for 2017-18 as they focus on trying to build community within the ASB program and plan for ASB events and projects in the coming years.
Five adults will be chaperoning the 30 students. The event is free as well as the lodging, so the only expenses are some meals that are paid from the ASB account. Transportation will be provided by site/district vans.
