Summary:
|
The Special Education Department entered into an Agreement for Speech and Language Pathology Assistant Services from January 23, 2018 through June 8, 2018 with a total amount not-to-exceed $8,960. These services are provided to District students who require these services according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
The recommendation is to increase the necessary amount of hours needed to cover student speech services required by the Individualized Education Plan. This would be an increase of $5,600 for a total of $15,960.
This Addendum is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to one of the District’s current Speech and Language Pathologist being out on medical leave.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
