Summary:
|
The District is requesting approval of Resolution No. 39:17-18 to layoff three (3) classified management positions due to lack of work. Approval of this item will allow the District to provide a sixty (60) day notice, pursuant to Education Code Sections 45298 and 45308, to all classified management employees that may be affected by the reduction of such positions, and inform all affected employees. The decision is based upon a workload reduction as a result of the new position of Coordinator of Safety and Security who will be taking on the duties of evaluating the campus supervisors and the District’s security programs. Along with the resolution the District is requesting approval of a revised Plant Supervisor job description which reflects the revised job duties and new salary information. The District is also requesting approval to Y-Rate affected employees’ salaries through June 30, 2019.
