Summary:
|
The district’s 2020-21 budget was adopted by the Board of Trustees on June 17, 2021. This budget was built upon Governor Newsom’s May Revision which included significant cuts to education funding. On June 29, 2020, Governor Newsom signed the 2020 Budget Act, which deviates significantly from the May Revision. Pursuant to Education Code Section 42127(h), the district is revising it’s 2020-21 budget to reflect the funding made available by the Budget Act. Included in the District’s 2020-21 Revised Budget is an updated multi-year financial projection, the resulting ending fund balance designations, and an updated cash flow projection.
