Summary: The California Military Institute would like to retain the services of Clover Enterprises, Inc. for a one-year renewal term from August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020. The Board approved the initial year of the contract at the Board Meeting on June 17, 2015.

Clover Enterprises, Incorporated has been successfully providing Athletic Training/First Responder services.

The California Military Institute agrees to make a payment for the aforementioned professional services in the amount of $34 per hour, estimated at $41,480 per year for the Athletic Trainer.

The initial term of the original Agreement was from August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016. The Agreement included up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms in accordance with Education Code 17596. This term from August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020 will be the last of the (4) additional one (1) year terms.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the Charter School General Fund, Fund 09.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Amendment No. 4 to Agreement for Professional Services with Clover Enterprises, Incorporated for athletic trainer/first responder services at the California Military Institute.
